2 Centered around Lieve Blancquaert s intriguing photographs on how the world welcomes its children, this full day course will explore the different challenges and potential solutions to safety and quality improvement in obstetrics and obstetric anaesthesia care. The Netherlands is well-known for the physiological approach to pregnancy and delivery. The recent transition to integrated maternal care has further optimised collaboration between midwives and obstetricians, but little attention has been paid to the contribution of anaesthesia in delivering safe and high-quality perinatal care. 25 Years of Dutch Obstetric Anesthesia (NVA) The current changes in maternal demographics such as age, comorbidities and analgesic preferences require active participation of anesthesia in obstetric care. In this course you will be given the opportunity to recognize anesthesia s role in safe and high-quality obstetric care, to identify the different barriers to value-based safe maternal care for women in diverse societies around the world, and to focus on the organisational changes needed to optimise collaboration.

6 STEP 5: Complete the Details page. You will be required to input the verification code DSA2018 at the bottom of this page to proceed to the next page. STEP 6: Select which days you / your first delegate would like to attend. STEP 7: Select which sessions you / your first delegate wish to attend. Note - if, for group bookings, you do not know each person s selections, you will be able to share with them a booking amendment link, which you will receive in the confirmation . They will then be able to log into the booking at a later date in order to select their sessions. STEP 8: You will be taken to the Booking Summary page. If you are booking additional delegates in a group, here you can click Add Another Attendee and continue with the booking until you have registered everyone in the group. STEP 9: Once you have completed registration, you will need to select your payment method. The available method is credit/debit card. The option for invoice payment is applicable for groups of 5 or more delegates only. Click Pay Now / Complete Registration and you will either be taken to the Worldpay payment page or to a page confirming your booking. Please note: The booking confirmation will be sent to the registration contact only. For amendments made to the booking, you must click the button on the Booking Summary page in order for them to be saved. If you pay via Worldpay, you will receive a separate with confirmation of your transaction. If you pay via invoice (available to groups of 5+ delegates only), the invoice will be issued in 5-7 working days.
