About the position: TnT Diagnostics has four positions available with the Athabasca Health Authority for the provision of PCP and ACP staff to the area. The ACP position will include a 12 hour shift with another 12 hours on call as a team member with medical and nursing staff in a 7 bed acute care/4 bed long term care facility located in Stony Rapids, Sk. The practitioners will also be responding to scene calls in a ground EMS unit and conducting aeromedical transportation throughout the rth. Shift durations are 7 days on, 7 nights on, 28 days off. Accommodations, transportation, uniforms, and training are provided. The PCP positions require minimum PCP NOCP 2011 with at least three years experience in EMS, ICP or ACP applicants will be considered. This position includes a 14 day rotation of shifts lasting 10 hours per day in the Black Lake Nursing Station located 20km Southeast of Stony Rapids with 14 hours on call. The PCP will be responsible for patient assessments and treatments in the clinic with a nurse partner as well as patient triage when the clinic is closed. Emergency response in and around the community as well as opportunities to provide aeromedical patient care are also included. Accommodations, transportation, uniforms, and training are provided. Mandatory requirements for employment include: Graduation from a CMA accredited school or equivalent Current CPR BLS-C certification Current ITLS certification Current ACLS certification (ACP level practitioner only) Current PALS/PEPP Certification (ACP level practitioner only) Current AED certification Current registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics as a 2011 NOCP Primary Care Paramedic or above. Level 1 certification with the Canadian Aerospace Medicine and Aeromedical Transportation Association is mandatory and will be provided to successful applicants not yet certified. Certification and experience in additional programs such as NRPS, Scuba, Snowmobiling, and others are considered an asset but not required. About TnT Diagnostics: TnT Diagnostics was established in 2006 to fulfill a need to provide contracted medical services and medical equipment to remote rthern communities. In 2005, the paramedics of TnT Diagnostics were invited to provide casual medical coverage for nursing staff at the health centre in the rthern Village of Cumberland House. Our paramedics worked as team members with a registered nurse partner utilising the Facility Based Scope of Practice approved by Saskatchewan Health and the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics. Medical consultation was established with the physician on call in Nipawin with patients transported out via ground or air.

2 In 2012 an arrangement was made with the Yellow Quill First Nation to provide Post-operative wound care to clients of the community. To ensure patient safety, our paramedics were trained in advanced wound care management.
