10 Corrina Bush Corrina is an intelligent and fascinating young lady with dreams and goals she has set for herself. She attributes her the Nnee Bich onii Program in helping her achieve those goals. Corrina entered the program in 2008 and was encouraged to obtain her GED which led to employment with the local school district. She suffered a slight setback when she lost that job. Finding herself back in the program, Corrina decided this time she was going to pursue her education. She enrolled in the Nursing Assistance Program at Gila Community College and successfully completed the course on October 13, Corrina expressed her appreciation of the Nnee Bich onii staff for providing her with transportation to class but most of all the support and motivation she needed to follow her dreams. Corrina plans to continue her education by taking the pre-requisite classes to obtain a degree in Nursing and hopes to Nnee Bich onii will continue to stand by her. Congratulations, Corrina. Keep following your dreams and know that you are setting an amazing example for others in the community.
11 YÜtÇvxávt jü z{à FrancescaWrightgreetsyouwithasmileat the San Carlos DES Office. She shares a rather amazing story of her journey to her current position; a whirlwind of positive changes duringatimewheneventhemostoptimistic person is susceptible to getting the blues. Yes, the holidays. Those days that stretch from Thanksgiving through to the New Year. Ms. Wright entered the Nnee Bich onii Program two days before Thanksgiving of She volunteered in the Nnee Bich onii office the following week and only half of the week after. She was informed that a temporary agency from Scottsdale was looking to hire a Customer Service Representative for the San Carlos Office and quickly applied. Unfortunately, in order to accept the position, it meant that she would have to travel to their office in Scottsdale. The Nnee Bich onii Transportation Department provided her with the ride she desperately needed. Francesca s first day of work at DES was on December 10, 2010 as their Customer Service Representative. Her advice for others is to just keep trying. Well said, Francesca.
12 Margaret Edwards is a proud mother of 7 & grandmother of 17. Ms. Edwards was encouraged by her Employment & Training Counselor to earn her G.E.D. Upon receiving her degree, she went on to enroll in a Nursing Assistant Program at Gila Community College which she successfully completed. Ms. Edwards then went further by taking the Arizona State Nursing Board exam to be a Certified Nursing Assistant. She attributes not only the encouragement she received in the program but also the assistance she received with transportation & exam fee. Ms. Edwards began volunteering as the receptionist in the Nnee Bich onii office in July When the position was advertised the following year, she was quick to apply. She was hired full-time in June Margaret is always ready and willing to lend a helping hand and to go above and beyond her assigned duties. Her advice forothersisto worktheprogramanddo as you re told. Congratulations, Margaret. You are a valuable asset to the Nnee Bich onii Program. Margaret Edwards
