1 INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL SERVICES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Rules and Prices for the Second-Opinion Services What is Teleradiology? Evaluation of radiological images: Our highly qualified team of radiologists and nuclear medicine specialists evaluate radiological images such as MRI, CT, PET-CT, X-ray or mammography taken in the patient s home country and provide a second opinion. Image evaluation fees: One anatomical region 165 Three or more anatomical regions in one examination 495 One X-ray 90 Translation costs (into English, per page) (1,20-1,70 per line) Express evaluation (within 48 hours) + 50 If you are interested in a radiological second opinion please follow these steps: 1. 2 5. The fee for a radiological second opinion covers evaluation of all the submitted medical reports, images, and questions prior to the completion of the second opinion report. If you have additional questions and/or send additional documents for evaluation after you have received your second opinion report, our medical center can bill you for these extra services. You can order a teleconsultation in case you have questions concerning your report. 6. Your report will be sent to you in German. Translation of the report into English can be ordered additionally. Translation costs for German-English apply per line or sign. 7. Please provide the payment for the ordered service in advance.
3 What is online consultation? Teleconsultation live consultation with our senior medical specialists in various disciplines via a video conference. You can invite your local physician and discuss your treatment options and diagnostics strategy with our medical specialists. An interpreter is available during the whole online consultation. This service includes: Thorough examination of the patient s medical documents and of the request form Live online consultation with a senior medical specialist/physician Interpreter services during the teleconsultation Technical support by the German part Teleconsultation fees: 20 min min min Fill out the request form by clicking on the button get a second opinion. It takes around 7-10 days to organize an online consultation after receiving your request and medical documents. 3. Your teleconsultation can take place by means of the VIDYO-system which can be installed directly on your computer over a link sent by a staff member of International Medical Services. 5 What is written second-opinion? You can get a comprehensive written second opinion from one of our top specialists without having to leave your home country. Your written second opinion will be ready in 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the diagnosis. Please note that evaluation of radiological images is not included in this service.
