4 Playground Committee - Role Evaluate and secure contractor to design and supply playground equipment, and support installation Create design criteria Finalize design Coordinate volunteer installation of playground

5 Prince of Peace Education Society (POPES) - Role Researching and applying for applicable grants (CFEP, Calgary parks foundation, many others) Securing sponsorship from local individuals and businesses to help fund the construction of the playground Looking for volunteers to help reach out to potential sponsors

6 Fundraising Committee - Role Initiates and runs all fundraising activities including bake sales, bottle drives, festivals, fundraising events (cards, coupon books, food) and other fundraising activities being undertaken More events are coming this year so stay tuned! Always looking for volunteers to help!!!! Please school council to help.

Approach friends, family, businesses with POPES Sponsorship Package Some employers would support a team of people to help with the actual build or match donations Promote the sponsorship package to employers In-kind Support For Grant Application security fencing excavation of site with removal of excess top soil concrete (for borders & post holes) skid steer & operator for auguring holes landscape rehabilitation (top soil, sod, tools for laying sod, etc.) In-kind Support not on Grant Application night security garbage removal and disposal food during build for volunteers auger bit and other tool rental
