2 Mission Empower Children to Reach their Potential through Education and Long-Term Support Story OneWorld Foundation was founded in 2015 by our Patron Dr. Ruja Ignatova to be a platform for charitable giving and positive impact children were supported through the allocation of EUR to 10 projects in 7 countries. May December We carried out our first fundraising party children were positively impacted by our work. More than EUR were allocated to 44 projects in 18 countries on 3 continents. October June Our impact tripled by having provided support to 1685 children through 25 funded projects in 13 countries children were supported through 64 funded projects in 24 countries December 2

3 The Problem According to UNICEF there are 1 billion children living in poverty and 58 million children who are out of school. More than half of these children are girls. These children are deprived of the opportunity to enjoy happy childhood and basic education. Therefore, OWF aims to help them learn, develop and thrive so they can have equal opportunities in live. Some of the challenges we help them overcome include: Poverty and Malnutrition Hazardous Ways to School Lack of Family Care Disabilities Lack of Modern Educational Facilities Lack of Support Child Labour 3

4 Vision A world in which all children live in a safe environment and have access to education through which they can Fulfill their potential Develop their knowledge and talents Grow as self-sustainable global citizens Acquire Economic and Financial Skills Solution To OVERCOME Poverty and Malnutrition, we support school meal programmes and provide healthy meals to children in poor areas (Romania, India, Cambodia); To OVERCOME Hazardous Ways to School, we provide students with bicycles so they can travel faster and safer (Cambodia, Vietnam); To OVERCOME the Lack of Family Care, we encourage programmes for foster care and fund special children homes (Bulgaria, Vietnam, Ukraine, China); To HELP children with Disabilities receive proper education, we support inclusive education projects (Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, China); To OVERCOME the Lack of Modern Educational Facilities, we provide funds for the development of Physic Labs and ICT classes (Bulgaria, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, India); To PROVIDE vulnerable children with the Support they need to fulfill their dreams, we provide scholarships and prizes for specific talents (Philippines, Vietnam, Bulgaria, Guatemala, Mexico, Thailand); To ERADICATE Child Labour, we fund prevention programmes encouraging children to stay in school (India, Brazil, Peru, Bangladesh). 4

6 Free Financial Education We believe that financial education is an essential tool for future success. Therefore, we have developed a series of comics called The Adventures of Super Ted. SUPER TED will be children s BEST FRIEND in the world of BASIC FINANCE The series is available for download on our website. You can also grab a hard copy from our office in Sofia. 7 Apply for Grant OneWorld Foundation collaborates with local organizations on the field which can implement and monitor projects successfully in order to achieve better results. If you are a charity organization, a school or an orphanage; you share our values and you aim to empower and educate children but lack the funding to do so, then maybe we can help. Go to Apply for Grant and fill in our Grant Application Form. Your project will be evaluated on its correlation to our mission, potential risks, its budget and the expected impact. We have set up a limit up to EUR but exceptions can be made for organizations with high credibility rates and solid budget justifications. Good luck!
