1 March 24, 2017 ADDENDUM NO. 1 TO: All Potential Proposers SUBJECT: RFQ 17-P Weinberg Center for the Arts Website Upgrade CONSISTING OF: RFIs and City Response, City DBE Listing This addendum is made part of the solicitation documents to the same extent as though it was originally included therein. In the event of conflict with the original contract documents, the addendum shall govern over all other contract documents to the extent specified. Subsequent addendums shall govern over prior addenda only to the extent specified. The proposer shall be required to acknowledge receipt of the informational addendum by signing the acknowledgment of addendum page and including it with the proposal. Failure of a proposer to include a signed informational addendum in their proposal shall deem their proposal non-responsive, however, the City may waive this requirement if determined to be in its best interest. The City will not be responsible for any other explanation or interpretation made verbally or in writing by any other city representative. We look forward to receiving your proposals. Whether we need to come over there for meetings? 3. Can we perform the tasks (related to RFP) outside USA? (like, from India or Canada) Ideally there would be at least 2-3 in-person meetings (discovery, testing) but this project could theoretically be accomplished without any. 4. Can we submit the proposals via ? No, hardcopy with original signature must be submitted. Hardcopy with original signatures, either mailed or hand delivered. One original, one copy and one electronic version (CD or flash drive) should be provided. 2. Will you disclose a budget range for this project? We do not generally disclose project budgets. Some general budget information is available through the City website What Content Management Systems (CMS) has the center looked at?

4 We have not researched any CMS platforms, as we expect and request that the selected vendor provide a recommendation given our desired scope of work. We currently utilize Wordpress and have customization issues, per Section II. 4. Do they have a preference for open source (WordPress or Drupal) or a licensed product? We are open to either; the cost proposal should encompass any software acquisitions/fees necessary. 5. What is driving the October launch date? The desire to launch in conjunction with the season start date. 6. Is there any flexibility in the launch date? Starting the project on July 1 with a completion by October 1 is a very aggressive timeline. Is the new ticketing system already selected? If so, are you able to share who that would be? b. Is iframing an acceptable form of integration? 4

5 The ticketing/crm solution Spektrix has been selected. It is likely iframing is fine; though we are not versed enough in web design to say. The vendor should plan to work with Spektrix s API in whatever manner they see fit. As stated in the Project Objectives, the website vendor is expected to communicate with the ticketing/crm vendor at all stages to successfully complete this project. 2. Do you have a qualified or preferred DBE list? The City does have a DBE list (attached). Any state-certified DBE would also be acceptable for due diligence. Yes, firms outside of the Frederick, MD area will be considered. 3. Will the firm awarded the contract have input into the ticketing/crm solution to ensure a smooth technical implementation? If not, will the awarded firm be able to revisit Scope to ensure that implementation of chosen ticketing/crm does not exceed agreement? The ticketing solution has been selected. Any deviations from the agreed upon scope would be negotiated as needed. 5
