4 ABOUT US Every year hundreds and thousands of communities across the world lose everything when disasters strike. Through no fault of their own and often with no warning, people lose their homes, their possessions and their livelihoods. Every day they are faced with a battle for survival. Initial reports said that hundreds of thousands of people were forced to seek other shelter to an earthquake that had hit a few weeks before. As we tracked the path of the storm we prepared the team for a change of focus as well as preparing for a wider response. to help the displaced families.
