9 MIPS Reporting Timeline December 2017 March 2018 Complete data entry and attestations for: Advancing Care Information (ACI) Improvement Activities (IA) Complete submission to Reg-ent Complete Data Release Consent Form (DRCF) Finalize selections of data and time period Review estimated score Click Submit FIGmd reviews submission and then submits to CMS with confirmation of submission

11 DRCFs What is a DRCF? Why is it needed? DRCF = Data Release Consent Form Required per CMS for any entity to report on your behalf Provides your approval to allow the Reg-ent registry to submit your MIPS data to CMS on your behalf Outlines responsibilities as dictated by CMS of the practice and of the registry surrounding submission of performance data Who can sign the DRCF? Individual reporting Eligible Clinician or authorized individual to sign on behalf of the EC Group reporting Individual authorized to sign on behalf of the Eligible Group It must be signed before data can be submitted on your behalf
12 New for 2017 How this year's submission is different from last year Online submission to CMS; get score immediately Multiple submissions allowed Practices need not enroll as GPRO; CMS will pull it from claims
