1 Pierre & Vacances - Center Parcs Foundation 2017/2018 CALL FOR PROJECTS The Pierre & Vacances - Center Parcs Group Foundation for local communities and the creation of social relations is launching its first call for projects. It is aimed at projects located near the Group's residences, villages and resorts - driven by non-profit establishments working in at least one of the following fields: Leisure and nature: access to leisure activities for those who are deprived of them; promotion and preservation of nature and sustainable development, including through awareness-raising programmes. Local heritage and culture: revitalising places where local heritage and culture is transmitted, including through the coordination and organisation of these places for this particular purpose; long-lasting cultural projects making the creation of social relations easier. Social and economic rehabilitation: the rehabilitation of isolated people with fragile economic and social situations, through social, economic or environmental activities and mutual solidarity. 1

2 CONDITIONS FOR ELIGIBILITY To take part, the projects must comply with all of the following conditions for eligibility: Project driven by an organisation eligible for patronage activities, either non-profit or with limited profits, certified to issue tax receipts: Non-profit or public interest associations (or foreign non-profit organisation, or equivalent), Federations or association networks, Foundations and endowment funds, Esus certified social enterprises - companies supporting solidarity and social unity (considered on a case-by-case basis), Communities, public establishments or organisations governed by the public authority, Project that benefits local populations, i.e. living within a 50-km range of the Group's establishments, Project based on at least one branch of sustainable development (environmental, economic, social), in addition to the Foundation's three areas of activity, Project whose first tangible results can be reached and visible within 12 months following the endowment allocation date. The following shall not be considered: Individual projects, Organisations with political or religious goals, Occasional projects (e.g. exhibitions, symposiums, gala evenings, etc.), Projects directly linked to the Group's activities or falling under its legal obligations. SELECTION PROCESS All applications received will be analysed in detail by the Pierre & Vacances - Center Parcs Group Foundation's selection committee, within a maximum of two months. They will then be submitted to a vote by the Foundation's Board of Directors. FUNDING The grant amount allocated will depend on the type of project and its needs. It shall only cover the expenses linked to its completion. Endowments will be granted once a year for each project initiator, for an amount ranging between 3,000 and 20,000 euros (average funding of 5,000 euros per project is however aimed for). Funding can be carried over to the following year, and the endowment amount will be re-assessed according to the results obtained the first year.
