1 Dissemination Report Lifelong Learning Programme LdV Partnership Improving Employment Opportunities in the Labour Market for Marginalised Communities August 2013 Individual Dissemination Activities of the different Partners in the project 0
2 Introduction The following indicates the different type of dissemination activities that each partner engaged in during the life of the project, the purpose of these events/conferences/meetings etc. was to maximise the publicity for the project at local, regional and international level where possible. When the project was agreed initially with all partners, it was agreed that each partner on a monthly basis would record their dissemination activities and send this in report format on a monthly basis to the partner responsible for recording these activities for the final dissemination report. Every opportunity was availed of to ensure that the project became well known throughout the partnership countries. From the start of the project, generally, the partnership meetings began with a formal launch where local media were invited to be present at the start of these meetings. Generally these culminated with a series of photos that were taking to capture the event, these photos then were respectively placed on our website or Facebook page. Our Website and Facebook page was also used to ensure that the outcomes of the project were mainstreamed. If the project was to be successful it was important that every effort is done to ensure that the outcomes developed as part of the project are given as much exposure to a wider audience as possible. Also partners were encouraged to ensure that prior to the partnership meetings, articles were placed in the local newspapers informing the general public on the forthcoming partnership meeting. In most cases, there would have been a following up article with the regard to the outcomes of the meeting. Some radio coverage was also availed of during partnership conferences. It should be noted that some of the Links pointing to articles and websites would be in the language of the country where the media coverage was covered. Gerry Griffin Compiler of Report August
