1 UNC System Convenience Contract F&A services, Long Form Methodology Frequently Asked Questions The University of North Carolina System has established a convenience contract with two vendors to provide F&A rate development services for campuses subject to the long form methodology. The approved vendors are Huron Consulting Group, Inc. and Maximus Consultants, Inc. Full copies of the approved vendors proposals have been provided to the Contracts and Grants Director or Associate Vice Chancellor for Finance at each of the subject campuses (# ). Because the vendors have been pre approved by the Division of Purchase and Contract (NC P&C), no bid process is required to engage either vendor for services. A copy of the vendors proposal(s) as accepted by the UNC System, which constitutes the contract, should be provided to the campus P&C division along with a copy of the letter from NC P&C and the agreed to vendor scope of work for that campus. A copy of the finalized scope of work with cost totals should be provided to Sarah Smith at UNC GA. The term of the convenience contract is 5 years.
