West Virginia (9-0), K-State (8-0) and Oklahoma State (7-0) are a combined The Big 12 s three unbeaten teams are tied for the most in any league. The Big 12 has a (.773) non-conference record. Ten of the 17 losses have been to ranked teams with seven of those teams rated in the top 10. Baylor, Iowa State and Texas losses have all come to top 10 opponents. The Big 12 has played 21 games thus far against teams from the other autonomy conferences and is just under.500 against them with 10 wins. Kansas State is one win away from becoming the second program in the Big 12 to reach 900 all-time victories. Texas leads the Conference with 1,014. Only 19 other programs nationally have hit the 900-win plateau. K-State and Kansas are tied for the longest-running programs in the Big 12, playing in their 49th season. Among conference stat leaders, the Big 12 is second in scoring (76.0), first in rebounding (43.0) and 3-point percentage (.361), and second in field goal percentage (.447). Kaylee Jensen (Oklahoma State) and Lanay Montgomery (West Virginia) are averaging a double-double. Jensen is third in the league in scoring (18.4) and the top rebounder (11.3). Montgomery is 23rd in scoring (10.9) and second in rebounding (10.0). Jensen s four double-doubles lead the Big 12. It was the largest margin of defeat at Thompson-Boling Arena. The Lady Bears are 4-1 against ranked opponents, defeating No. 9/9 UCLA, No. 17/17 DePaul, No. 8/8 Ohio State and No. 22/25 Tennessee. Baylor s lone loss of the season came at No. 3/2 Connnecticut. Freshman Chelsea Dungee has provided a spark for the Sooners over the last three games, averaging 11.0 points per game on.458 shooting (11-of-24) from the field. The junior finished with 20 points and 17 rebounds against the Lady Bulldogs. With the victory, OSU extended its winning streak at home against nonconference opponents to 54 in a row. That number went down very slightly with a 42.1 percent (8-of-19) effort against the Tigers. TCU has hit 40 percent or better from deep in five straight games with at least six 3-pointers in every game this season. AJ Alix has been a big part of the 3-point effort as she has scored in double figures in five straight games with at least three 3-pointers in all. Senior center Kelsey Lang had a career week, recording the second and third double-doubles of her career and averaging a team-leading 13.5 points, 11.0 rebounds and 4.0 blocks. She also moved up to ninth place on UT s all-time career blocked shots list with 122. Texas Tech has scored 55+ points in all seven games this season. Sophomore guard Recee Caldwell led the team with 29 points at Arkansas on Saturday. With West Virginia s win over Ole Miss on Sunday, the Mountaineers have won 30 consecutive games against non-conference opponents and 11 straight at the WVU Coliseum. Dating back to the Ohio State game last March, the Mountaineers have held their last 10 opponents to less than 40 percent shooting from the field. West Virginia opponents are shooting at 29.2 (155-of-530) from the field, which ranks in the top 10 nationally in field goal percentage defense.
