Lloyd also kick-started the Terriers' comeback victory against Fairfield on Saturday, as the Stags took an early 2-0 lead before Lloyd got Boston U. on the board with a goal in the 45th minute. The Terriers went on to a 3-2 win to move into sole possession of first place in the America East standings. ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Whitney Frates, New Hampshire, Fr., F, Woodstock, Vt./Kimball Union Academy Frates extended her point-scoring streak to six games with a goal against Dartmouth and an assist on the game-winning goal at Maine. Her goal against Dartmouth helped the Wildcats erase a two-goal deficit and leveled the scored, 2-2 just 1:46 into the second half. Frates set up UNH's fourth goal of the game on Saturday, which came in the 47th minute and gave the 'Cats a two-goal advantage at Maine. Fairfield Notebook: Fairfield University (4-10, 1-1 America East) fell short in its attempt to remain umbeaten in America East play by dropping a 3-2 decision at Boston University. The Stags scored twice in the opening seven minutes of the game but the Terriers came back with three unanswered goals, including the winning score with no time left on the clock Fairfield recorded just two shots in the first half but scored on both attempts. Fairfield was outshot by Boston University by a 24-6 count in the game, Fairfield has been outshot in four of its last five games, but won two of those four contests (Cornell and Vermont) Marit Westenberg played a role in both goals by scoring the first goal and assisting on the second. The freshman is currently tied for the team lead in scoring with 13 points (five goals, three assists), the same numbers shared by senior Emily Janis Fairfield plays three of its final four games at home this year, where Fairfield owns a 4-3 record.
