3 G2 (Springfield, East Longmeadow) The G2 will provide service between the East Longmeadow Big Y and Memorial Industrial Park, at MassDET. Service on the G2 s spurs the East and Page loop, the St James loop, the Cottage Street loop, and the Dwight Road/Benton Drive spur will be discontinued to streamline the route. Sunday service will begin at 9:00 AM. Current Sunday service begins at 10:00 AM. Weekday and Saturday schedules will not change. 4 G3 ( Springfield) The G3 will be partially rerouted in Old Hill and Upper Hill: from State Street, it will proceed via Walnut, King, Westford, Middlesex, and Norfolk Streets, returning downtown the same way. This route will also be served on Sundays. Saturday service will begin at 7:00 AM. Current Saturday service begins at 7:40 AM. Sunday service will operate every hour between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, employing the modified King/Westford route as described, which is currently not served on Sundays. 6 G5 (Springfield, Longmeadow) The G5 will be partially rerouted: from Springfield Bus Terminal, it will proceed via Liberty, Dwight (returning via Chestnut), Maple, Central, Pine, Maple, and Mill Streets before reaching Dickinson. The G5 will terminate at the Jewish Nursing Home in Longmeadow. Georgetown Apartments will be served from Dickinson Street. Service on the Tiffany and Converse Street loop will be discontinued. Bus service in Longmeadow and Enfield will still be available on the new G5 Express route. Saturday service will begin at 7:00 AM. Current Saturday service begins at 7:30 AM. 7 B6 (Springfield, Ludlow) Weekday evening service on the B6 will be increased to 30 minute frequency. Two additional round trips will be added to Saturday schedules, leaving Springfield Bus Terminal at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. 8 B7 (Springfield) The B7 will be upgraded to Bus Rapid Transit service between Main Street and the Eastfield Mall. Due to the requirements for BRT, the B7 will serve Independence House, Price Rite, and Wal-Mart from curbside locations on State Street and Boston Road. 10 R10; OWL (Springfield, West Springfield, Westfield) The R10 will be split into two routes on weekdays: one from Westfield Center to Springfield Bus Terminal, and one providing shuttle service between Westfield Center and Westfield State University. The shuttle service will maintain a 20 minute frequency between 7:40 AM and 5:00 PM, then switch to an hourly frequency, with the last bus from WSU leaving at 10:30 PM. The Westfield-Springfield service will use the current schedule until 6:00 PM, then switch to an hourly frequency until 11:00 PM. Current service between 6:00 and 11:00 PM is infrequent. Service to Union Street and East Mountain road will be discontinued, and a flex route will be provided to meet local transit needs. Weekend service will be provided between WSU and Springfield, using current schedules. No changes will be made to the OWL service at WSU. Sunday schedules will not change. A flex route will be provided in Agawam to meet local transit needs. Additional transit service in Agawam will be provided by the new R14 Express route. Saturday service will begin at 6:00 AM, and an extra evening trip will be provided on Sundays. Current Saturday service begins at 7:00 AM. Weekday schedules will not change. 23 R24 (Holyoke) The R24 will be reconfigured into a frequent, continuous, in-town loop route. This route will serve, in order: Holyoke Transportation Center, Maple Street, Cabot Street, Sycamore House, Pleasant Street, Lincoln Street, Stop & Shop, Hampden Street, Northampton Street, Holyoke Hospital, Sergeant Street, High Street, Lyman Street, and the Senior Housing between Hampden and St. Kolbe, before returning to HTC. Service to Holyoke Mall will be provided through timed connections with the P20. Weekday service will be provided on a 45-minute frequency between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Saturday service will be provided on a 2-hour frequency between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. 34 R41 (Northampton, Easthampton, Holyoke) The R41 will be extended to serve Holyoke Mall. The R41 will interline with the R42 in Downtown Northampton on weekdays. 60 minute frequencies will be provided year-round on weekdays and Saturdays. 40 B48 (Northampton, Holyoke) Weekday and Saturday service will be increased to a 30-minute frequency between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM; service before 10:00 AM and after 5:00 PM will remain at a 60-minute frequency. Sunday service will operate between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Current weekday and Saturday service operates at a 60-minute frequency, and current Sunday service is provided between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM. 42 New Service-R14 Express (Agawam) The R14 Express route will operate between Springfield Bus Terminal and Agawam, serving Heritage Nursing Home and Industrial Park via Interstate 91, the South End Bridge, and Route 159. Eight trips will be provided every day, with seasonal extensions to Six Flags Amusement Park. Weekend trips will not serve Industrial Park. The X90 will split into two routes between Springfield Plaza and HTC; the X90A and the X90B, respectively. The X90A will travel via Broadway, Canterbury Arms, Singing Bridge, Memorial Drive, New Ludlow Road, Montcalm Street, and St James Street; the X90B will travel via Broadway, Grove Street, Main Street, Singing Bridge, Memorial Drive, Montgomery Street, Columba Street, Grattan Street, Chicopee Street, and St James Street. X90A and X90B continue from St James Street to HTC via Bridge Road, the Flats, Lyman Street, and Maple Street. Weekday and Saturday schedules will operate between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM, at a 30 minute frequency before 6:00 PM and an hourly frequency after that. The X92 s route is as follows: from Mill & Main, along Orange Street, Allen Street, Island Pond Road, Roosevelt Ave, State Street, Blunt Park Road, Roosevelt Ave, to the Memorial Industrial Park loop of Cottage Street, Memorial Drive, and Industry Ave. Service will operate on weekdays and Saturdays at an hourly frequency. 48 New Service-X94 (Springfield, Ludlow) The X94, or Outer Crosstown, will operate between Canon Circle and Ludlow, via the Eastfield Mall. Weekday and Saturday service will operate between 6:30 AM and 9:00 PM at a 30 minute frequency during daytime, switching to an hourly frequency in the evening. The X94 will not serve Ludlow on Sundays, operating instead between Canon Circle and the Eastfield Mall at an hourly frequency from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. X90A and X90B continue from St James Street to HTC via Bridge Road, the Flats, Lyman Street, and Maple Street.
