Notre Dame hasn t allowed an opponent to score more than 20 points this season and won their last five games by 20 or more points, but if NC State can keep the Irish running attack in check, the Wolfpack could steal a win in South Bend. Players of the Week: Week 8 Luke Falk, QB Washington State On a cold and rainy night in Pullman, Wash., Falk threw three touchdown passes to lead the Cougars to a 28-0 victory over Colorado. In the process, Falk set the Pac-12 career record for total offense (13,041 yards) and pass attempts (1,860). The senior needs just 197 yards to set the Pac-12 record for career passing yards. Trace McSorley, QB Penn State McSorley was responsible for four touchdowns, three rushing and one passing, in Penn State s win over Michigan. With 358 yards of total offense, McSorley became the fifth Nittany Lion with 6,000 career yards of total offense. The junior quarterback has also thrown a touchdown in 22 straight games, the second longest streak in the nation.
