COMMUNITY GRANT APPLICATION Thank you for your recent inquiry concerning the Community Grants provided by the Junior League of Detroit ( JLD ). Community Grants support the Junior League of Detroit s efforts to participate in community-based collaborative partnerships that work to broaden the educational, cultural, recreational, and health opportunities for children living in the county of Wayne and promote volunteerism. Within education, we are interested in childhood literacy and enrichment efforts. Within health, we are interested in basic needs. Enclosed you will find an application for a Community Grant. Please review the following guidelines before you complete the application and return it to the Junior League of Detroit. Funding Guidelines Funding is based on a quarterly cycle with the following deadlines: August 1, November 1, March 1, and May 1.
