John and Sally Ebling 4-H Scholarships The Cuyahoga County 4-H Development Fund is pleased to announce the opening of applications for this year s scholarship assistance. For 2015, we hope to award two scholarships given in the name of John and Sally Ebling ranging between $250 and $500. Should funds permit, an additional award may also be available. Eligibility: The applicant must be: Currently enrolled in Cuyahoga County 4-H or an alumni of the Cuyahoga County 4-H program. A high school senior or graduate who will be enrolled in a two-year or four-year certificate or degree program for the first time in the Fall of 2015. Selection Committee: A committee of 4-H advisors and members of the Cuyahoga County 4-H Development Fund will make the selection for the scholarships. This selection committee will be coordinated by an Extension 4-H Educator from the Cuyahoga County office of Ohio State University Extension. Selection will be based on the following criteria: Evidence of leadership in 4-H and in other organizations Academic achievement Community involvement and service Need for the scholarship Applications: Will be available until May 1, 2015 online at: Cuyahoga.osu.edu under the 4-H Resource link or by mail upon request from Ohio State University Extension, Cuyahoga County, 4-H Office, 5320 Stanard Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44103, (non-internet users only) Must be returned to the same address by May 20, 2015. Scholarship Selection and Announcement: The scholarship awards will be announced after August 3, 2015. Scholarship Payment: Will be made after October 1, 2015, to the school of the selected candidate(s).
