WELCOME We invite you to join us as we celebrate our 15th year at the APWCA2016 National Clinical Conference, to be held March 31 April 2, 2016 in Philadelphia, PA. At the Downtown Philadelphia Loews Hotel The impressive list of faculty members include nationally and internationally recognized leading experts in wound care. The registration is multidisciplinary representing all sub-specialties in wound care. Our 2016 Conference reflected registration demographics as follows: 36% MD/DO, 33% DPM, 18% RN and 13% Other (PhD, Research, etc) As always, all lunches will be held in the Exhibit Hall We will open our exhibits on Friday, March 31, 2016 with lunch being served in the exhibit hall from 11:15am 1:30pm and Saturday, April 1, 2016, 11:15am 1:30pm. Exhibiting hours are designed to give ample time so that each exhibitor can meet and communicate with our conference registrants, faculty and guest. Lead retrieval equipment will be available for rental during conference time. Competencies in Wound Related Procedures Course will be offered again for 2016, which will be held on Thursday, March 31th, from 2:00 pm 6:00 pm. APWCA Competency Course March 31, 2016 Loews Philadelphia Hotel COMPETENCIES IN WOUND RELATED PROCEDURES Thursday, March 31, 2016 2:00 PM 6:00 PM Course Description This hands-on course, leading to certificates of competency in wound care procedures, will include 6-sessions which will be preceded by didactic lectures on each of the procedures. We will break out into small groups to visit each station. The station s participants will receive a certificate of competency once able to demonstrate the requisite skill with the device.
