ULMS Employability Programme for MSc Students Semester 1-2014-15...
... The ULMS Employability Programme for MSc students is designed by your specialist MSc Careers Adviser, Sadie Lawty and brings together bespoke sessions tailored for management school masters students and events in the central Careers and Employability Service. The programme brings together a series of webinars, workshops, seminars and individualised, 1:1 careers appointments. It has been designed to help you to progressively build your own portfolio of skills and knowledge throughout your time at University. This will enhance your employability and employment prospects and help you into a successful career following graduation. As you well know, competition for graduate careers is now fierce both in the UK and internationally, with many more graduates in the market than was the case a number of years ago. As a result, employers are more selective and are looking for more than just a good degree from a good university. They are looking for employees who have a real understanding of their chosen areas of work and have made significant efforts to research into and develop skills that will be useful in the workplace. Enhance your employability, increase your career prospects. The programme of events will help you to understand how you can prepare to enter the wide variety of careers related to your MSc. To find out more and to book places on the events listed visit the events section on Careerhub at www.careerhub.liv.ac.uk.
