Biography Mary Louise (Apholt) Turner was born in 1941 in Waltham, Massachusetts. She grew up in Belmont, Massachusetts, graduating from Belmont High School in 1960. She graduated from the Cambridge City Hospital School of Nursing in 1963. Turner worked at the Cambridge City Hospital as Head Nurse, a position she held until 1968 when she decided to raise her children full-time. While her sons were young, Turner worked part-time as a nurse. In 1980, she returned to nursing full-time at the Greenery Rehab in Brighton, Massachusetts. Later in her career, she worked in various nursing homes before retiring at 61. Turner, a lifelong Belmont resident, is married to Richard Turner and has three sons and 10 grandchildren. - Page 3-
Collection Overview This collection contains printed materials, photographs, a scrapbook, and realia related to Turner s attendance at the Cambridge Hospital School of Nursing. It includes photographs of her classmates as well as of Turner herself.
