Craft for a Cause Tuesday, October 23 6:00-8:00 p.m. Teens, come down to the library to create Halloween holiday cards and decorate pumpkins that will be delivered to a local senior assisted living center. We ll provide the pumpkins and supplies, you bring the creativity! Students may receive school community service credit; please bring your school form. International Games Day Tuesday, November 6 6:00-7:30 p.m. Did you know there s an entire week dedicated to playing games? Celebrate with us as we play our favorites! Lines of Fire: Andrew Carroll s Search for the Greatest War Letters Ever Written Saturday, October 13 2:00 p.m. Andrew Carroll, the bestselling author and director of the Center for American War Letters at Chapman University, is traveling the country to seek out 1,000,000 letters written during every war in U.S. history, from the Revolution up to the present day. Carroll will talk about his campaign to save wartime correspondences and show audience members some of the most extraordinary letters. Carroll will also discuss his recent book My Fellow Soldiers.
