I also have had the opportunity to work in long term care. Throughout my career I have always enjoyed teaching, whether it be precepting students, mentoring new hires or training future leaders. As I advanced into administrative roles, I continued to have a passion for teaching. I moved into a full time teaching role in 2004. I believe my diverse background in med-surg, long term care and administration gives me a strong experiential base to draw from for education. I enjoy working with students and faculty, preparing the next generation of competent, high quality nurses. I have experience with curriculum development, accreditation, and NCLEX test writing. I want to continue developing my educational and leadership skills, constantly improving, learning, and growing. My current goal is to utilize my leadership and educational abilities to work on innovative ways to improve education in order to meet today s student needs. I am interested in an administrative position such as a program director or dean. I would like to thank you for taking the time to review my Curriculum Vitae.
