Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of value Rs. 8,03,780/- (Rupees Eight Lakh Three Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty Only) in favor of Airports Authority of India payable at Surat in the form of Demand Draft from Scheduled Bank but not from Cooperative/Gramin bank. Note: 1 EMD amount in the form of cash or any other form like online payment shall not be accepted. Vendors shall also note that they are not required to contact any AAI employee or submit any documentary evidence of submission of EMD during the process of the tender. Refund of EMD: EMD of unsuccessful bidders received shall be refunded except for L-1 bidder after completion of all formalities of bid. The bidder who fails to submit the original DD towards Tender Fee & EMD of requisite amount as per NIT before the stipulated date and time then their e-bid response will be summarily rejected. Qualifying Requirements of the Contractor/Firm: Empanelled agencies for Construction of Pre-Engineered / Pre-Fabricated Buildings at AAI Airports Envelope-I: Technical Bid Containing scanned copy of i). Demand draft (DD) in respect of Tender Fee. ii). Demand draft (DD) in respect of EMD. iii). Unconditional Acceptance of AAI s Tender Conditions. iv). Permanent Account Number (PAN). v). Should possess Valid Good & Service Tax (GST). vi). The Checklist/PQ Performa (duly filled & signed) by applicant. The AAI Empanelled agencies for Construction of Pre-Engineered / Pre-Fabricated Buildings at AAI Airports shall submit their clarification only at CPP Portal http://etender.gov.in/eprocure/app. The Empanelled agencies for Construction of Pre- Engineered / Pre-Fabricated Buildings at AAI Airports are advised to follow the instruction provided in the tender document for online submission of price bids. The Empanelled agencies are required to upload the digitally signed file of scanned documents along with scanned copy of Tender fee & EMD. A 1 of tender document). Envelope II: The financial e-bid through CPP-portal. All rates shall be quoted in the format provided and no other format is acceptable. If the price bid has been given as a standard BOQ format with the tender document, then the same is to be downloaded and to be filled by all the bidders. Bidders are required to download the BOQ file, open it and complete the white colored (unprotected) cells with their respective financial quotes and other details (such as name of the bidder). No other cells should be changed. Once the details have been completed, the bidder should save it and submit it online, without changing the file name. If the BOQ file is found to be modified by the bidder, the bid will be rejected. 3. Original Tender Fee & EMD, hard copy of signed Unconditional Acceptance of AAI s Tender Conditions to be sent to the Office of Asst. Tender of the bidder whose Tender Fee, EMD and Unconditional Acceptance of AAI s tender conditions are not received by the time of the opening of pre-qualification of tender then their tenders will be summarily rejected. Any postal delay will not be entertained. 4. Bids opening process is as below: - Envelope-I:-The Technical bid opening date shall be as mentioned in CRITICAL DATA SHEET. (Depending on pre-qualification, any changes in the date shall be intimated through CPP portal). If any clarification is needed from the bidder about the deficiency in his uploaded documents in Envelope I, he will be asked to provide it through CPP portal. The bidder shall upload the requisite clarification/documents within time specified by AAI, failing which tender will be liable for rejection. Envelope II: The financial bid of the contractors / firms found to be meeting the qualifying requirements and technical criteria shall be as per CRITICAL DATA SHEET.
