EVENT DETAILS THURSDAY, OCTOBER 4 All Day Class Visits Our excellent faculty welcome you to visit their classes! This is a highlight of Homecoming weekend. Be sure to attend at least one or two classes and enjoy learning and fun without the tests! A schedule of available classes will be provided the week of Homecoming and Family Weekend. 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Campus Tours Stop by Hendren Hall to join a tour of campus led by a student ambassador. Tours will begin at 10 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. You ll learn about the changes on campus and get the most up-to-date admissions info. No ticket is necessary for this-- but RSVP by selecting this ticket to help us plan accordingly. All Day Cruzen-Murray Library Tours The Cruzen-Murray Library will be open to the Coyote community from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday for selfguided tours. All Day Faculty Art Show in Rosenthal Gallery You won t want to miss the faculty art show featuring Eric Mullis and Kelly Cox in the Rosenthal Gallery in Blatchley Hall. 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. National Alumni Board Meeting Sterry Board Room The semi-annual meeting of the National Alumni Board will be held on Thursday, October 4 on the College of Idaho campus. Our board members will meet to plan strategies for alumni outreach, coordinate regional events, and hear updates from campus leaders. The open session for all alumni will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. 5:30-7:00 p.m. Distinguished Alumni Awards Celebration Langroise Foyer Join us as we honor Distinguished Alumni Award winners, the Service Award winner, the Young Alumni Award winner, and the 2018 Family Heritage Award winner from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Langroise Hall. $20 ticket price includes appetizers, one drink ticket per person, a champagne toast, and access to the cash bar as we celebrate the success of our magnificent alumni. *Price increases Sept. 24* 7:15 p.m. TED-Y Talks and Alumni Choir Performance Langroise Recital Hall Join us for thought-provoking presentations by our Distinguished Alumni Award winners and a short performance by the Alumni and Friends Choir starting at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.

This year s featured speaker is Megan Ronk '01, Director of Business Innovation and Development at Idaho Power. Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. in Simplot Dining Hall. If you are interested in sponsoring a table ($350, seats 6 guests and 2 students and includes tax and a donation to the College) at this event, please call Heidi Jewell at 208-459-5017. This event brought to you by the Business Advisory Council. 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Orma J. Smith Museum Tours Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History in Boone Hall Basement The College of Idaho's Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History is the premier resource for environmental and natural history education in the region. The Museum is listed in the "30 Most Amazing Higher Education Natural History Museums," compiled by Best College Reviews. The Museum will be open for self-guided tours Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ("Night at the Museum" special event starts at 7:15 p.m.--all are encouraged to join!). The Museum is hosting a Silent Auction all day on Friday, October 5, in the basement of Boone Hall. Proceeds will benefit the renovation of the museum exhibits. 12:00-1:30 p.m. Presidents Luncheon Simplot Dining Hall This year, along with C of I Presidents Jim Everett and Doug Brigham, we will also hear from the ASCI presidents and faculty presidents. This event will begin at noon in Simplot Dining Hall. All alumni, family, and friends of the College are welcome to attend, with a special invitation to all Half-Century alumni and Retired Faculty and Staff. *Price increases Sept. 24* 1:00 p.m. Men s Soccer Game VS U. of Providence 1:30 p.m. Chaos in The Quad Alumni, students, faculty, staff, and all of the Coyote community are invited to take a break between classes and come together in the Quad for the annual "Chaos in the Quad!" FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5 cont 3:30 p.m. Finney Hall and Voorhees Hall Open House Finney Hall and Voorhees Hall Finney and Voorhees Hall will be open from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. for all to enjoy before a short dedication at 4:30 p.m. 4:00 p.m. Education Reunion and Reception Blatchley Hall Reunite with fellow education department graduates to celebrate the legacy of our C of I educators and to congratulate retiring professor Patti Copple, starting at 4 p.m. in Blatchley. 4:30-6:00 p.m. Beer, Cider, and Wine Tasting Check in at the table in the Quad at 5:00 p.m. and get your over 21 bracelet as well as your exclusive Homecoming beer or wine glass, then enjoy libations from local wineries, breweries, and cideries. 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday Night Fever Disco Dinner Everyone is invited to enjoy a celebration of all things C of I at this 70's themed dinner party. Join us for great food, live music, and more starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Quad! Ticket price includes a dinner buffet, and concert. *This ticket is for alumni, families, faculty, and staff. Students can use a meal from their card at the event. *Price increases on Sept. 24.* 6:30-9:30 p.m. West Abbey Road Concert You won t want to miss a minute of the West Abbey Road (alumnus Doug Davis '72) concert as they bring back the sights and sounds of the Beatles, complete with a transition between their early and later years. A cash bar will be available. 7:00-9:00 p.m. Night at the Museum - The Bear Necessities Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History Don't miss this special chance to see "everything come to life" in our museum! This event will start at 7:15 in the Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History. This year's featured speaker will be Alaskan bear biologist, Dr. Sean Farley 79. His topic will be: A synopsis of Alaskan biological research: From selfie bear videos to solving urban wildlife conflicts with genetics.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Museum Work Day Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History in Boone Hall Basement Members of the Coyote community are invited to visit the Museum and work with our staff on a variety of projects. Museum hours will be 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with the noon seminar "Status of the College" presented by Dr. David Douglass, C of I VP of Academic Affairs. Voorhees, Simplot, Anderson, Finney, and Hayman will all be open to welcome you with open arms and a stack of fresh donuts. A current R.A. will be available in each dorm lobby to answer your questions about student life and listen to stories about the good old days. 9:00 a.m. Were you an RA during your time at the College? Join current Residence Life staff members and other former Resident Assistants for a casual continental breakfast in the new Voorhees study lounge. There will be a chance to re-connect, share stories, and walk away with a memento of the morning. Meet up at the amphitheater near McCain Student Center (you might have known it as Kirkpatrick Gymnasium) at 9:15 a.m. for a mimosa and a group photo. Be there at 9:15 on-the-dot so we can take the photo and get you to the tailgate. Let us know you'll be there and we'll have a mimosa ready for you! *This event is part of the 1970s reunion during Homecoming.* 10:00 a.m Men s Basketball Open Practice JA Albertson Athletic Center Center Get a sneak peek at the 2018-2019 men's basketball team during their practice starting at 10 a.m. Stick around to take an alumni "team" photo, sign the legacy wall, and meet the players and new head coach Colby Blaine. 10:00-12:30 p.m. Tailgating at "The Purple Tent" JAAC Parking Lot Join the alumni and family tailgate, "The Purple Tent", where we'll be grilling burgers and dogs and providing drinks. Here you can enjoy all the pre-game excitement starting at 10:00 a.m. Cheer on the team as they walk to the stadium at 11 and join the Yote Parade to the stadium at 12:20 to be in your seats in plenty of time to hear the Alumni and Student Choir sing the national anthem. *Purchase football game tickets at yoteathletics.com.* Continued on next page

We encourage you come relax, purchase your dinner there, then mingle with other alumni from the 1970s. *This event is part of the 1970s reunion during Homecoming.*

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7 10:00 a.m. Campus Ministries Coyote Breakfast Simplot Dining Hall Join students, families, and alumni for a no-host breakfast in Simplot at 10:00 a.m. before heading to KAIC for the midmorning service. Breakfast is $7.05 +tax per person at-the-door. 11:00 a.m. Campus Ministries Chapel KAIC Join campus minister Phil Rogers and Campus Ministries for a mid-morning "Late Night" style service in KAIC.
