MONDAY July 16 SPIRIT THEME: SECTION SHIRT DAY 7:30 am: Truck Crews arrive to load the truck with instruments 8:50 am: Everyone arrives to Corona, load luggage on trucks 9:10 am: Band Camp Student Meeting in Band Room (Roll call time don t be late!) 9:30 am: Depart for Prescott on school buses 11:30 am (Approx.): Arrive in Prescott, LUNCH (Bring money for lunch!) 12:15 pm: Get back on buses, leave for Pine Summit Camp 12:40 pm: Arrive at Pine Summit Camp, unload buses and trucks, move luggage to rooms. 1:30 pm: WW/Brass Marching on the Field; Guard rehearsal in Gym; Pit Ramada; Drumline On outside basketball court or inside the dorms. 3:30 pm WW/Brass move to music sectionals. Sectionals start at 3:45 pm. WWs in Ridgecrest Dorm, Brass on Field. Other sections continue practicing. ALL GROUPS: FINISH AT 4:45 pm. TUESDAY July 17 SPIRIT THEME: DISNEY DAY 7 am: Roll Call (in your teams) and Stretching Gym (bring your towel!) 7:40 am: Stretching ends, move to cafeteria 12 pm: LUNCH in the Cafeteria. Lunch ends at 12:45. 1 pm: Skit Rehearsal time in the Dining Hall (team leaders check in with Mr. D for attendance) Teams 1-6. Teams 7-12 have free time. At 1:45, teams switch (teams 7-12 in Dining Hall for skit rehearsal time check in with Mr. D for attendance; and teams 1-6 have free time). During free time, you can rest in your cabin, take a shower, go on the nature hike, play sports with friends, rehearse your skit with your team, and play games in the game room in the Gym. SATURDAY, July 21 SPIRIT THEME: A THOUSAND CRANES DAY (New Show Shirts) 6:15 am: Wake-up Time! Start packing! 7 am: Room Inspections make sure you leave the room cleaner than you found it! All trash must be taken out and all bags packed. Bring packed bags/sleeping bags/pillow to the Gym (line up along the edges leave the center open). Line up your instruments by section at the outdoor Basketball Court. Cabin Leaders: report to Mr. DuPlessis at breakfast. 8 am: BREAKFAST in the cafeteria. Breakfast ends at 8:40 am. 9 am: Brass starts warming up; Guard starts warming up on lower court 9:15 am: Pit/Drumline starts warming up; Woodwinds report to field for photos 9:30 am: Brass reports to field for photos; Woodwinds start warming up 10 am: Full Ensemble warm-up/run-throughs 10:45 am: Rehearsal ends SECTION PHOTOS (Football Field): ALL SENIORS: 8:50 am Guard: 8:55 am Drumline: 9 am Pit: 9:05 am Drum Majors: 9:10 am Piccolos: 9:15 am Clarinets: 9:20 am Alto Saxes: 9:25 am Tenor/Bari Saxes: 9:30 am Trumpets: 9:35 am Mellophones: 9:40 am Baritones: 9:45 am Tubas: 9:50 am 11 am: Band Camp Family Lunch all families are invited! Make sure you fill out the order form and pay before camp (students at camp do NOT need to buy a meal this is included in their camp fee). 12 noon: Move to Concert area (Main Field). 12:15 pm: Band Camp Concert starts! Approx. 1:15 pm: Concert ends. Make sure to take all your belongings home (including instruments!). Tubas and Percussion are responsible for loading their instruments on the truck and unloading the instruments when they arrive at Corona about 3:45 pm. Truck crew members all need to come to the school at about 3:45 pm also to help unload quickly. TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED HOME so make sure your parents are coming to the concert to take you home (or carpool). Optional: We are doing a fundraiser with Jimmy & Joe s Pizzeria on the northwest corner of Ray and McClintock on this day.
