Services to be Provided Assignments (specific projects are not yet determined) will be on an as-needed basis and typically include project schematics (including project renderings), project design, phase studies, investigations, assessments, cost estimating, reports and related services in support of the capital program for facilities in the identified Parks Regions. The general, but not specific, projects are anticipated to include utility systems, water/sewer systems, water front designs (beach & water quality) and other supporting infrastructure. The disciplines required to provide the professional design services for the referenced facilities include but are not limited to: Civil Engineering, Mechanical (MEP) Engineering, Surveying, Geotechnical, and Environmental. Estimate of Cost The total compensation over the term of the agreement shall not exceed $1,500,000 unless supplemented otherwise. Contract Term The term of the contract is thirty-six (36) months, unless supplemented otherwise, and commences upon contract approval by the Office of 1 of 5
the Comptroller. Proposal Format and Submission Instructions Interested firms shall submit qualifications consisting of four (4) copies of a short portfolio that provides a Letter of Interest, the firms most recent SF 330 or SF 254 and SF 255 (Federal or State Modified), and not more than an additional 15 pages describing the firm s qualifications, relevant experience, proposed staffing, proposed sub-consultants and present workload. Professional firms, licensed to practice Engineering in New York State, including Minority and Women-Owned firms are encouraged to reply. Selection of the firm(s) deemed to be the most highly qualified shall be in accordance with Qualification Based Selection Procedures. For this proposed Professional Design Service Term Contract the resumes of key personnel must include a) current assignments (project location and duties), b) estimated completion date of current assignments and c) client, client contact person and telephone number. If sub-consultants are proposed, the role of each sub-consultant should be discussed. The submission should describe the organization of proposed project staff indicating the role of each key individual. A brief description of a proposed project approach may be included. Special Project Requirements: The top-ranked firms on the short list may be requested to prepare and give oral presentations before the State Parks selection committee. Proposal Due Date The due date for the submittal is the close of business January 27, 2017. MBE & WBE Goals The goal for Minority Business subcontracting goal is 3%.
