Generate more than 30,000 student credit hours at multiple delivery sites including Lewistown, University Park and Williamsport. Interface with Associate Dean s for Outreach in10 academic colleges to identify appropriate courses, programs and faculty for 250 credit courses per semester. Recruit, hire and evaluate approximately 200 adjunct faculty per semester. Developed the plan for a degree completion accelerated weekend college at Penn State University, University Park - launch in Fall 2007. Ensure that faculty credentials and course syllabi are submitted and approved by the Associate Deans and/or department heads prior to the start of class. Act as a liaison with the College of Education Department of International Programs to plan and organize the credit programs and registration for the Humphrey Fellows Program. Plan the curriculum offerings for six associate degrees and one baccalaureate degree.
2 Negotiate with the senior faculty of colleges to increase the number of Master s level courses available for teachers in our service area. Design creative program delivery plans, utilizing multiple technologies based on client needs in a ten county region. Supervise staff for credit, non-credit and corporate programs within Continuing Education at University Park. Identify new program opportunities; funding streams; implement delivery and evaluation of new educational products. Insure that marketing is completed in a timely fashion and that it reaches the appropriate target market. Participate in strategic planning for Outreach Organization and University Park Continuing Education Unit Lead the training initiatives for adult students and faculty to incorporate technology into the continuing education classroom including: ANGEL software implementation, blended programming, accelerated programming and interactive video. Analyze return on investment for all programs offered by Continuing Education at University Park. Represent CE@UP on Statewide, University-wide and College committees.
