Here you ll master the fundamentals, develop proper mechanics and gain game play experience. Every aspect of the game is covered, giving you a solid skill foundation to build upon after camp. Advanced Camps Advanced Camps are recommended for high school varsity (entering sophomore, junior or senior year) and club players with a commitment to the sport and the ability and motivation to play in college. These intense, challenging programs stress position play, advanced team techniques and match play. Position Specialty Camps Several NIKE Volleyball Camp sites offer a Position Specialty option. These programs are designed for players who want to specialize in the Setter, Hitter, Middle Blocker or Libero (Defensive Specialist) positions. Please check camp listings for locations offering Position Specialty programs. Team Volleyball Camp (at James Madison University only) James Madison University provides focused group instruction and competitive team play for players and coaches of all levels. Teams consisting of seven or more players are invited to attend the three-day program. All applications must be MAILED in together. One coach for each team is welcome to attend the camp at no cost.
