Participants will help paint a large mural for the Library using fun techniques including squirt guns! Each participant will be provided safety glasses and a disposable poncho. Tired of being picked on by a pushy rabbit, the tortoise challenges him to a race. As he second-guesses this rash decision, Tortoise suddenly gets help from an unexpected teacher. TEEN SUMMER READING PROGRAM June 27 - August 12 This year s Teen Summer Reading Program theme is Get in the Game - READ! Teens in Grades 7-12 can register beginning Monday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. or throughout the summer during regular Library hours. Track the books you read to receive prizes and raffle tickets. Write reviews or interact with the Library through social media to receive bonus raffle tickets. After reading FIVE books, participants will be eligible to come to the Teen Finale Party on Friday, August 12 at 12:00 p.m. Adult Reading Program! June 27 - August 12 This year s theme for the 2016 Adult Summer Reading Program is Exercise Your Mind - Read. Explore a variety of ways to improve your health and well-being, including fitness, nutrition and stress relief. The start date is Monday, June 27. Participants read library books to receive tickets for prize drawings. In this seven-week summer program, participants choose books from a genre or category. Keep track of the books you read. Eight raffle baskets will be displayed around the Library. Read a book and receive a raffle ticket. Enter that ticket for the basket you wish to win. You only need to read one book for a chance to win a basket. Participants who read three books receive a ticket to attend the finale on Friday, August 12 at 6:30 p.m.
