3 1- Benefits of entrepreneur The greatest gift in becoming an entrepreneur is not the money. It s not the glamour of being your own boss nor the ability to work when and where you want. The greatest gift lies in knowing that you can create your own future. http://www.businesszone.co.uk/topic/business-trends/infographic-entrepreneurs-inspired-while-toilet-and-other-interestingstart-st

4 Talent is key for start-up success, for some it is more important than money

6 وجدتها True entrepreneurship and true empowerment is believing that no matter what situation arises or whatever circumstances occur, that you will be able to find a way to turn it around, to create your own business, to survive and to thrive http://www.businesszone.co.uk/topic/ business-trends/infographicentrepreneurs-inspired-while-toiletand-other-interesting-start-st

4- How to move forward your idea? حاضنه األفكار -a Incubators كيفية تطوير و تعجيل االفكار are organizations whose aim is to accelerate the growth and success of entrepreneurial companies through an array of business support resources and services that could include physical space, capital, coaching, common services, and networking connections, as defined by the International Association of Scientific Parks. 10 b- Accelerators بيئات تسريع المشاريع Accelerators are more intense than incubators because there's a concrete time limit (they last around four months), and because they work with classes of start-ups that begin and end the program at the same time. c- Tech hubs المحاور التقنية that house incubators, co-working spaces & accelerators d- Research and technology parks تجمعات مراكز األبحاث و التقنيات Which house large-scale projects developed by corporate, government, university labs, or SMEs and do not offer business assistance services. http://www.wamda.com/2014/08/incubators-in-the-arab-world

11 Accelerators vs Incubators

a- Incubators حاضنه األفكار Ministry Of Education & Higher Education 12 Every successful business begins with an idea. And the journey from Idea to a viable commercial venture is a difficult one. However every journey begins with a first step http://paradigm-trends.com/business%20incubation%20program.html

What are the typical incubators services 13 - Business Plan Support - Financial Modeling - Market Research - Legal Advice - Strategic Planning - Mentorship - Training via Certified Courses - Financial Consulting & Financing Towards successful commercialization http://www.lightwaveventure.com/background.shtml

14 b- Accelerators بيئات تسريع المشاريع An accelerator takes singledigit chunks of equity in externally developed ideas in return for small amounts of capital and mentorship. They re generally truncated into a three to four month program at the end of which the start-ups graduate One Idea, one project, one focus

15 C- Tech hubs المحاور التقنية In Canada, Ontario s 44 universities produce about 30,000 computer science and engineering graduates each year, a steady flow of new talent for the province s startups as well as established IT, life sciences, and aerospace companies. That fits with the country strategic plan. By contrast, California a state with about three times the population of Ontario produces only 21,000 STEM graduates per year. Waterloo University, Ontario, produces an amazing kind of talent. It gives students a great grounding in computer science, but also by the time they graduate they ve passed through four summers of co-op programs, so they ve worked at Facebook, at Google, Microsoft, BlackBerry, or other companies.

تجمعات مراكز األبحاث و التقنيات -d Research and technology parks A university research park, science park, or science and technology park is an area managed in a manner designed to promote innovation. 16 It is a physical place that supports university-industry and government collaboration with the intent of creating high technology economic development and advancing knowledge. Maximizing Impact Through Partnerships

17 5- Innovation transfer process

6- Business Accelerators vs. Business Incubators Ministry Of Education & Higher Education 18 Business incubators mentor companies through childhood while business accelerators guide them through adolescence into adulthood. http://www.impulsaglobal.com/business-acceleration-vs-business-incubator/
