1. Club Petitions for Recognition A) Advocates for Change/Beyond Cell Walls B) Gender Equality Movement Math Club moved to approve the two clubs be submitted to ASG. Intramural Sports Club seconded. 36/0/0 Motion passes. 2. Bond Committee (Medina, 5 minutes) Medina discussed a bond that is up for vote on the ballot in November for 4.5million for MiraCosta. The money is to fund the master plan. The master plan is a whole list of improvements for new buildings for MiraCosta, more specifically for STEM buildings, the gym and parking. On the ballot on November 8 th. People who are in the district can vote. MiraCosta district spreads from Camp Pendleton to Del Mar (all the coastal cities) and Carmel Valley and Rancho Santa Fe. In order to pass, 55% is needed in favor to pass the vote. Further discussed students can get involved by a phone bank to call registered voters to vote for the bond, position is a paid position. Students can also join in the precinct walk. Oceanside Campus as well as San Elijo. Questions, how can I identify the bond on the ballot? Medina responded stating that since it is a measure it s going to be at the back for the ballot, it is labeled MM. You can find more information during college hour at a table. 3. ICC SSCCC Resolution Intramural Sports Club motioned to table the item indefinitely. Hernandez seconded. Motion passed without objections. 4. Chair Elections Ballots were handed out for voting, judgement TBA.
5. Student Center Advisory Committee Intramural Sports motioned to approve Dylan G. (from Accounting Business Club) represent ICC on the SCAC. Design Club seconded. (-)Black Student Union 34/0/0 Motioned passed. 6. Spending Bills a) ICCSBFY17-04- Kayaking Intramural Sports Club moved to approve the full amount of $800 for the event. GSA seconded.
