CDE Update: Collecting Social Security Numbers (2) 2018-19 FAQ s for California WIOA Title II Agencies state: If agencies do use student SSN s, they need to ensure that they have each student complete a signed consent form granting their permission for the agency to share this information. The CDE posted guidance on this issue through CDE Management Bulletin, which includes a sample consent form. Announcements: Local Assessment Policy All agencies must develop and address all 7 requirements of Local Assessment Policy template. The Local Assessment Policy must be signed, updated annually and kept on file at the agency. It is important for at least one representative of each agency to attend these network meetings.
