BACKGROUND INFORMATION As a measure to meet its requirements for storm water quality management at LAX, LAWA has reached an agreement with the Bureau of Sanitation (LASAN), to transfer runoff from a portion of the airport property into the City s interceptor sewer system for treatment at the Hyperion Treatment Plant (HTP).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Area Shut Down Requests (ASR) All Work sites, lane / road closures, pedestrian detours and service road closures require ASR preparation and submission by Contractor to the Project Management Team. ASRs to be submitted 30 days prior to intended closure date ASRs require review and coordination with Operations, CALM, Airport Police, Airport Traffic Engineer, Planning and Development Group and the Shutdown Control Center.
