Good things: casual atmosphere, good food ii. Location: Kim Jones corner (with the windows on the 2nd floor of Othmer) c. Initiation - 11AM-1PM Saturday, December 5th. 3. Red Card/Green Card 4. Mentoring Program a. ENGR 10 discussion board facilitators b. Will be a service opportunity for new eligibles c. ~1 hour per week d. Plan for next semester??? Not one in progress yet 5. Point System a. Meetings = 1pt, Events = 2pts b. Stole Requirement : ~8-10 hours volunteer time 6. Social Event

One compliance check per month before the 15th of the month (Oct., Nov., Dec.) b. Groups of two, only those who are 21 or older can approach the counter c. Present cashier with red or green card as well as a letter for them to give to their manager d. Fill out a form when you get back in the car: name and lane number are really important! e. Email form to stacy@nebgrocery.com within 24 hours of completing the check! f. Tau Beta Pi gets money for doing this (around $300) that we can spend on food and other great things for our organization. 2. Eligibles Update a. Meet and Greet went well b. Currently 32 eligibles 3. Eligibles Event Participation - We would like actives to help with these events, especially if you can t help with Red Card Green Card. a. October 10th (Saturday): Huskers Helping the Homeless, time TBD, outside stadium(?)

b. November 1st (Sunday): Water Station Half-Marathon, 8AM-10:30AM, Innovation Campus c. November 1st (Sunday): Water Station Half-Marathon, 10:30AM-1PM, Innovation Campus d. Evan will send out an email with meeting minutes and sign-ups for volunteering events

February 20th (this Saturday): MATHCOUNTS Competition, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM, East Campus Union i. You should have been contacted about your involvement - if not, let me know ASAP! b. February 24th (next Wednesday): Global Day of the Engineer, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, City Campus Union, Replace E-Week activity i. We need a few more volunteers! ii. If you signed up, please stay after to fill out the volunteer form c. Outstanding Professor Award Committee i. We would love one more volunteer! New Business 2. 2016 Spring Conference a. Friday, March 4th through Sunday, March 6th b. Manhattan, KS - all expense-paid trip i. If you are interested, please stay afterwards to sign up and for more details!

ii. NEED TO KNOW BY TOMORROW (can maybe get an extension) 3. National Convention Bylaws a. Review through Constitution and Bylaws amendments i. Restructuring executive board by adding positions to even out the load ii. National Tau Beta Pi b. Questions? c. Vote d. Need to make sure we meet quorum before sending out official results 4. Graduation material poll a. Active members wear stoles b. They have supposedly awesome-looking tassels this year! :D 5. Social event top two a. Bowling b. Grill-out c. Some time in April 6. Event is on April 9 (9 am - 1 pm) d. Breakfast and lunch provided!!!!! e. Kyle to send out email once he has registered our group f. Also an email with other volunteer event options 2. Graduation date questionnaire - fill it out! New Business 3. Distinguished Teaching Award a. Presentation and discussion of Candidates b. Vote - you must vote for TWO candidates you feel the most worthy! c. The winning three or four candidates will be sent back out to the general public for voting - please remember, this does not involve campaigning on their behalf from any Tau Beta Pi member! 4. Executive Position Descriptions a. Secretary: minutes, sign-in sheets, organizational things, project reports

b. New member educator/social chair: Kyle made a great document of all the stuff that you do and people are there to help you out with this position!, initiation and service/social events are the two big things (and food) c. Publicity chair: update website (don t need programming experience), Google calendar, conferencing with OMA members d. Treasurer: financial things - keeping track of budget and receipts/purchases, SOFS training, also interfaces with nationals e. Vice president: (first year VP, next year president), assisting president, mentoring program ENGR 10, attend national convention i. President coordinates meetings, makes agendas, leads initiation, make sure we submit things to nationals 5. Next General Chapter Meeting - Elections a. April 7th - 5:30 p.m. b. Social event to follow! c. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY!! d. Extra points will be awarded for attendance! 6. Have a great rest of your week!
