The first part will explore innovative concepts two counties have implemented to provide an alternative to jail for low risk offenders. Secondly, participants will learn of a new initiative that will allow for more collaboration between social services and the juvenile courts in order to provide a coordinated and more effective response for at-risk youth and families.
