Once the FAFSA is submitted, you will received a Student Aid Report (SAR) The SAR includes all information submitted in FAFSA as well as the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) The SAR is sent to schools indicated on the FAFSA and they make a determination of the financial aid award based on this information Check your SAR for accuracy and make corrections as necessary online Submit any additional documentation requested by schools Monitor email and/or student account online for any financial aid communication sent from your school Once you receive your Financial Aid Award Letter (either electronically or by mail), review it and accept/decline awards you wish to receive Financial Aid Process
