International Student Program (Required for all International Students) 1:45 3:30 p.m. Immigration Basics & Employment for International Students Hermann Hall All F-1 and J-1 international students are required to attend this session. Students will learn how to maintain immigration status and comply with U.S. laws and regulations. Students will also be introduced to the International Center staff and resources available through the International Center. Cultural Adjustment & Intro to American Culture Come and learn about cultural adjustment and the basic nuances of American culture. This portion of SOAR is designed to help you adjust to life in the U.S. and be successful in your day to day interactions with American citizens. 3:30 4pm Student Accounting Frequently Asked Questions Hermann Hall The primary mission for the Office of Student Accounting is to assure that funds due the university are billed and collected timely and accurately. The IIT Student Account Basics presentation covers the following important topics to help meet this mission: tuition and fee overview, student portal navigation, payment due dates, electronic billing, payment methods and navigation, and international wire instructions.
