Head of Curricular Expansion & Digitisation The Global Education & Leadership Foundation (tgelf) works towards preparing the next generation of leaders to be able to act as ethical global citizens in the face of daunting challenges that will be thrown open to them tomorrow. tgelf is passionate about helping identify young leaders with strong values and then supporting them to develop to their full potential. To oversee, structure, strategise and implement the expansion of tgelf s K-12 values-based ethical leadership curriculum, with the goal of reaching 100 million students by 2020. This includes both on-ground expansion as well as the creation and maintenance of an interactive, dynamic online curricular platform, which will be the site of our imminent digital curriculum. This platform will serve as an online home for the tgelf community, allowing us to interact with students, teachers, and Leaders Forum members, measure their involvement, and further engage with the most active community members. Domestic expansion: tgelf will soon be in every Indian state. We wish to dramatically expand our reach domestically through various channels, including government schools, private schools, and NGO, corporate, and political partners; International expansion: We hope to add a minimum of five participating countries to tgelf operations within the next three years, including Russia, the US, and countries in the Asia Pacific region, through local and government partners; Partnership-based expansion: tgelf has an ever-growing group of fantastic partners who work with young leaders. We will continue to leverage these partnerships in mutually beneficial ways by working together, developing joint ventures, and supporting each others initiatives; Digital expansion: tgelf is developing an online platform to engage students with our upcoming digital curriculum. This platform will serve as a hub of all things tgelf; Developing digital curricular material: To date, tgelf s Skilling and Knowhow Initiative for Lifelong Leadership Development (SKILLD) curriculum has been implemented in a low-tech manner, using in-person trainings and physical manuals and books. We are in the process of both digitising the existing curricula in an interactive, engaging way, as well as developing new online lessons, activities, and games; Developing tgelf s online platform: The Head of Curricular Expansion & Digitisation will lead the development, design, and creation of tgelf s online platform by working closely with our platform development partners; Overseeing the ongoing maintenance, continuance, and development of the tgelf platform: Though the platform will initially serve primarily as a curricular platform for students, teachers, and schools, it will eventually expand to include other elements of the tgelf community and thus will require ongoing creative energy for development; Fundraising for curricular expansion & digitisation: tgelf fundraises for myriad initiatives; curricular expansion is a top priority this year. The curricular expansion team, in partnership with the fundraising team, will work to raise money to grow our presence worldwide; A minimum of a Bachelor s degree in the field of education; A minimum of 3 years of professional leadership experience;

A passion for education and empowering young people to lead the change they wish to see in the world; Prior knowledge of (or the capacity to learn about) architecting digital platforms (including communities, networks, social media, etc.); An ambitious macro mindset, but also an eye for detail; The ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment in a flexible and energetic way; The ability to solve problems in creative, enthusiastic ways; Desired Qualities: Preference will be given to applicants with: Experience working with young people (teaching, NGO work, etc); Experience working with teachers and/or school administrators; Fundraising experience; Experience in the social service or business sectors; A Master s degree or higher; Coding experience and/or knowledge of data privacy laws and norms; The Head of Curricular Expansion & Digitisation will report to tgelf s Program Director, CEO, and Chairman. This person will be responsible for driving the organization s marketing efforts including digital and offline to provide support to the rest of the team s operations. About Global Citizen India Global Citizen India is a movement uniting policymakers, corporate leaders, pop culture icons, faith leaders and citizens for an ambitious goal: ending extreme poverty by 2030. In two short months, over 500,000 citizens made their voices heard by taking over two million actions on our platform demanding the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) be met. So far, more than 2.1 million actions have been taken by Indian Global Citizens, leading to INR 43,416 commitments being made by world leaders, which are set to affect 516 million lives by 2030.The Global Citizen India movement and platform work continuously to achieve the end goal of ending extreme poverty by 2030. A core part of tgelf, this means continuously advocating, discussing, campaigning and connecting dots between the stakeholders who can make a difference through their voice, their funds or their policies. About Shuruaat Bus With the impending fourth Industrial revolution, India needs to create over 1.3 million jobs a month to ensure productive utilization of its thriving workforce and take full advantage of its demographic dividend. In this vein, The Shuruaat Bus began as an initiative to promote entrepreneurship by leveraging the excitement around the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit. The Shuruaat Bus will continue its journey throughout India, traveling to college campuses in Tier 2 cities. We plan to host a 100-second pitch competition inside the bus, highlight Atal Innovation Tinkering Lab innovations, interview upcoming entrepreneurs, and inspire young Indians to take on the mantle of entrepreneurship by becoming job makers. #dontmissthebus The Content Associate will lead on the generation and curation of content across our core platforms at tgelf, including researching, pitching and writing stories for our flagship projects; Global Citizen India content platforms and Shuruaat Bus platforms. Further, the content associate shall also be responsible for all communications (internal and external) for The Global Education and Leadership Foundation, help out with intern content editing and social media scheduling, and assist with myriad internal and administrative tasks. This is a writing as well as administration-intensive position. Familiarity with daily news sites and journalism practices are required. A strong interest in one or more of our issue areas - Quality Education, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Girls & Women, Health, Environment, Food & Hunger, Water & Sanitation, Finance & Innovation, and Citizenship is helpful. We are a small, hard-working, nimble team excited about trying out new content ideas on the web and looking for excited, ambitious team members to help us build an effective strategy to grow the Global Citizen India movement as well as The Global Education & Leadership Foundation. We work with schools across twenty states in India and fourteen countries overseas with a long-term K-12 leadership curriculum; to date, we have reached approximately three million students. Our Leaders Forum engages over three- hundred top university-aged students across the world. The role of the fundraiser encompasses, identifying partners who share our vision and will contribute their resources towards supporting our school curriculum program and other special projects aimed at achieving the goal of identifying the next generation of leaders. The Consultant will support the Company s fundraising efforts by acting as a representative of the tgelf s initiatives in India and the US. The fundraising efforts undertaken shall include but not be limited to: Developing strategies and setting goals to hit fundraising targets; Research prospective donors. Identify and contact potential donors. Maintain records of donor information for future us; Liaise with existing and potential sponsors and donors based in the US; Organize and facilitate meetings with sponsors based in the US to present tgelf s Initiatives and its causes; Create a strong fundraising message that appeals to potential donors. Write proposals, including applications for grants. Preparing and giving presentations; Act as relationship manager for all US-based sponsors and donors; Report and liaise with tgelf s fundraising team in India with progress and status updates on potential sponsorship and charity leads; Budgeting incoming and outgoing money; Organize a campaign or event that will lead to soliciting donations; Overseeing events and campaigns; Evaluate the success of previous fundraising event; Train volunteers in fundraising procedures and practices; Ensure that all legal reporting requirements are satisfied;

Fundraising experience: Prior fundraising experience of 7-10 years in US-based not-forprofits; Communication skills: Applicants need impeccable communication skills in order to communicate the message of their organization so that people will make donations; Detail oriented: Applicants must be detail oriented because they deal with large volumes of data, including lists of people s names and phone numbers, and must comply with state and federal regulations. Part of the Project Management team for Global Citizen India, taking the movement to new levels of impact, outreach,visibility ahead of and through the year-round activations and Festival planned for 2019; Alignment of the activities under Global Citizen India s umbrella, including policy & campaigns, events & activations; Design and execution of campaigns acting upon the Global Citizen India target issues, through citizen engagement directly on the ground, digital engagement for policy issues, and corporate and political engagement; Coordination with campaigns undertaken by Global Citizen global teams and Global Citizen India partners; Accountability and monitoring for commitments made on the Global Citizen Festival India 2016 stage, including tracking and reporting on their status in global reports; Mobilisation of funds from new and past corporate, political and non-governmental sponsors for the realisation of the project s financial needs;

tgelf / JA Asia Pacific Fellow An opportunity to impact 100 million students by 2020 The Global Education and Leadership Foundation (tgelf) and Junior Achievement (JA) Asia Pacific have recently created a partnership to integrate programs focused on ethical, altruistic leadership and entrepreneurship amongst young people globally. For this to reach its full potential, we are looking for a passionate, committed fellow to oversee and facilitate various elements of our joint programme as well as to play a supporting role in expanding the reach of tgelf s curriculum, with the goal of reaching 100 million students by 2020. In this new phase of our activities in India, the successful candidate will lead the way with a new, innovative movement that trains the next generation to become leaders who are ethical, action-oriented and able to succeed in the global economy. The orientation to the position will be in collaboration with the tgelf and JA Asia Pacific team to ensure a complete on-boarding session. This will include materials that will be shared prior to the candidate s arrival for their reading, as well sessions with team members to introduce the program, expectations and company policies in their arrival week to New Delhi. Post the two-year fellowship, the candidate will have the opportunity (post evaluation) to join the organization as a full-time staff member. Integrating the JA curriculum on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship, with the tgelf curriculum on ethical leadership Strategizing and facilitating the implementation of the joint program across India, as well as expansion across Asia and globally; Liaising with different parties working within the partnership, including tgelf Special Projects Team, JA Asia Pacific, JA Worldwide, and external supporters Driving all collaborative efforts to an agreed plan of action and milestones; Coordinating communication and fundraising efforts for the joint program; Assessing impact and reach by regularly submitting evaluatory reports; Supporting the tgelf Head of Curricular Expansion & Digitization in efforts to improve, grow, and digitize curricular programming A minimum of a Bachelor s degree in the field of education or business; A working knowledge of the education sector; A working knowledge of the business and entrepreneurship sector;
