More than just a conference, CAAFP is the intersection of education, passion and transformation for African American providers of financial products and services. The Conference of African American Financial Professionals has experienced a rise in the number of attendees. From its humble beginnings, CAAFP has grown from less than 20 attendees to its current following between 500-600 attendees each year. This demonstrates how CAAFP has increased in influence and prominence among financial services professionals. The networking and learning from other advisors is what s key; the workshops are good for new advisors and a refresher for the seniors, but meeting other advisors from around the country has kept me coming since 2010.
