Erasmus Mundus actively participates in the Erasmus Mundus programs. - In 2012 we became an Associate Partner of the Consortium of Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Consortium. - In 2013 the TU Dresden would like to keep our University as an Associate Partner in the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Consortium. The Main Activities of this Consortium are: Broad-based exchange of EU and RF undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students, postdoctorate researchers and teaching staff. Providing opportunities to RF nationals working in public administration, public and private enterprises with study, training or research opportunities in the EU.
Erasmus Mundus Due to this cooperation a PhD student from the got financing for the implementation and carrying out of research work. The host university was the Medical Faculty Carl Gustav Carus (TU Dresden).
In 2012 a student carried out research work under the supervision of Head of the Department of Prevention and Care of Diabetes of the Uniklinikum, Technical University of Dresden Prof. Peter Schwarz. The main areas of research were the manifestations of diabetic nephropathy in patients with diabetes of the 2d type; relation between the insulin resistance and kidney functions as well as the use of new instruments for the diagnosis of the risk of diabetes of the 2d type.
Scientific Cooperation Part of the project of the Department of Public Health of the Novosibirsk Mayor s Office in the prevention of 2-type diabetes is implemented on the bases of the and the Uniklinikum of the Technical University of Dresden. A group of 10 students of the Medical Faculty of the Novosibirsk State Medical University visited: The Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin of the Humboldt University of Berlin Faculty of Medicine of Universität Leipzig
DAAD butthe main host university was the Faculty of Medicine Carl Gustav Carus of TU Dresden. The students got acquainted with the structure of the University and Medical Faculty, organizationof the academic process and peculiarities of training a medical specialists, visited lectures and practical classes.
