College of Engineering Dean's Team Application 2018-2019 The College of Engineering Dean's Team is a prestigious group of highly motivated, dedicated, and spirited undergraduate students who assist the College of Engineering with its recruiting efforts by volunteering for approximately 10 hours/semester. Some of these activities include: Conducting daily (Monday Friday) Engineering Information Sessions from 11:15 a.m. 12:15 p.m. on a rotational basis to prospective students and their families Serving on a student panel for an Admissions Open House event (there are two programs in the fall and one in the spring) Assisting with the College of Engineering Open House in April Hosting individuals and groups by talking about campus life and the resources available to College of Engineering students Individuals selected for the Dean's Team will participate throughout the 2018-2019 academic year with the availability to assist during the summer months if possible. (Summer school attendance is not required). Each member of the Team will receive a College of Engineering shirt to wear during recruiting events and a special recognition to be awarded at a dinner hosted by the Dean of the College of Engineering at the end of the service period. In addition to serving as ambassador for the College of Engineering and providing an important service, the Dean's Team is a fun way to network with faculty members, alumni and other students within the College. (It's also a great way to build your resume in the area of service and university involvement!)
