Cinch Scholarship Rules & Regulations Rules, Regulations and Specifics $2,000 Academic Scholarships awarded for Cinch (Male Only) Junior High Division $2,000 Academic Scholarships awarded for Cinch (Female Only) Junior High Division $2,000 Academic Scholarships awarded for Cinch (Male Only) High School Division $2,000 Academic Scholarships awarded for Cinch (Female Only) High School Division Any applicant can be in any level of High School or Junior High Competition Applicant must be a member of the NHSRA Winner must use the scholarship funds toward their first semester at an accredited college. Open to any NHSRA or NHSRA JH Member (does not need to be a member of Cinch Rodeo Team or Cinch Shooting Team to qualify) Application Process Complete entry application Complete essay based on one of the topics from the list on the previous page. Essay must be longer than 250 words but no more than 500 words Send an official school transcript with list of completed classes, grades and GPA included The official school transcript should show that you are also currently enrolled in classes. Must be an active student at an accredited high school *Home school students are not required to provide official school transcripts Specifics Winner to be chosen based on criteria set by Cinch marketing team. Valid entries include completed application, official school transcript with proof of GPA and class enrollment (*exception for home school students) and one completed essay question (250 to 500 words) from the list provided. Applications/essay questions will be available on NHSRA and Cinch websites by October 1, 2018. Email to nroberts@miller-international.com Scholarship winners will be announced on 2/1/19. Scholarship funds will be dispersed directly to the recipient s university. Student must use the scholarship for their first semester s tuition at an accredited college or university. Student must provide an official school transcript for proof of first semester enrollment before scholarship funds are dispersed. The following items will be required from the winner: Full legal name, mailing address and phone number, permanent addresses, email address, copy of driver s license, accredited college or university s name and complete contact information, class schedule or legal transcript proving enrollment, parent/guardian complete contact information and signatures, and recipient s signature on release form.
