SPOUSE/GUEST PROGRAM The program includes the welcome reception, breakfasts, and guest tour on Thursday, October 11. The historical tour begins with a leisurely drive down River Road to Locust Grove, a plantation built in 1790 and home to the founder of Louisville, George Roger Clark. Next they ll visit Old Louisville, a historic preservation district south of the city where stately mansions stand like they did in the late 1800 s. Guest will also enjoy lunch at Bristol Bar & Grille before returning to the hotel. And, guests can also attend Friday evening s dinner at the Kentucky Derby Museum. Designed by David Pfaff, the course features gently rolling terrain, lush groves of Scotch pine, maple, oak and dogwood trees with scenic McNeely Lake as the backdrop. Golf fees of $120 cover green fees, cart rental, lunch (including a beverage ticket) and transportation to and from the course. Prizes will be awarded. Club rentals are additional and available through the course. Pre-registration at least two weeks prior to the event is required. Kentucky Derby Museum Tour & Dinner Join the group on a tour of the expansive museum that brings to life the sounds, images, and artifacts of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. View the museum s awardwinning 360-degree high definition video of the greatest race. Enjoy a Kentucky-style buffet dinner while being entertained by an authentic blue grass band.
