ITB-14-057-CV TREE, PALM AND SHRUB PRUNING/REMOVAL FACILITIES AND CONSTRUCTION LINK TO STRATEGIC BLUEPRINT: EFFECTIVE AND SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES Procurement Management Services, at the request of The Office of School Facilities, released the above-referenced solicitation. The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a pool of pre-approved vendors to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment and materials necessary to perform tree, palm and shrub, trimming, pruning and stump removal for The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida. This is a term bid which states that the Board may purchase quantities, as may be needed, but is not obligated to purchase any guaranteed amount. In addition, this Invitation to Bid was advertised on the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Procurement Management Services website, the DemandStar website, Bid Net, Florida Bid, the Miami Times and El Diario Las Americas newspapers, as well as emailed to 82 potential bidders. In addition to the services noted above, Bidders must be certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) prior to being recommended for award. The initial term of the bid shall be for a two (2) year period, commencing November 18, 2015 through November 17, 2017, and may, by mutual agreement between The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, and the successful bidders, be extended for three (3) additional one (1) year periods. Strategies were employed to increase SBE/MBE participation, however during the Goal Setting Committee meeting, the recommendation for this solicitation was to be open, not sheltered, as a large number of SBE/MBE vendors were not identified, within the commodity code(s). This Bid is recommended to be rejected to revise specifications to allow for more vendor participation. 2. RFP NO. RFP-15-006-ND - COMPREHENSIVE ON-SITE HEALTH CARE SERVICES FOR STUDENTS ATTENDING CONTINUING OPPORTUNITIES FOR A PURPOSEFUL EDUCATION (C.O.P.E) CENTER SOUTH, was to obtain health agencies/professionals to provide on-site comprehensive health services to approximately 112 teen parents and their infants/toddlers at COPE Center South, located at 10225 SW 147th Terrace, Miami, Florida 33176, for The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida. Several items on this solicitation have already been awarded. However, the Long Term Care offering is recommended to be rejected to revise specifications. RFP-14-023-SL SPECIAL EDUCATION ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FISCAL ACCOUNTABILITY LINK TO STRATEGIC BLUEPRINT: EFFECTIVE AND SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES Procurement Management Services at the request of The Office of Academic Transformation, released the above-referenced solicitation. The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to select qualified and experienced firms to assist The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida in the development of an electronic management system for the collection and administration of exceptional student education records that include students with disabilities and students identified as gifted. In addition, this RFP was advertised on the Procurement Management Services website, the DemandStar website, The Miami Times, the Diario Las Americas newspapers, Bid Net and Florida Bid, as well as emailed to 75 potential bidders. In addition to the collection and administration of student records data, this system would assist the District in its collection of Medicaid reimbursements and in providing a scheduling and tracking system for delivery of services. The initial term of the bid shall be for one (1) year period, commencing November 18, 2015 through November 17, 2016, and may, by mutual agreement between the School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, and the successful bidders, be extended for three (3) additional one (1) year periods. The Selection Committee reviewed the following four (4) vendor proposals: Giganetworks, Inc.; Excent Corporation; Public Consulting Group, Inc.; and Accelify Solutions, LLC. The Selection Committee members recommended to conduct oral presentations with Public Consulting Group, Inc. and Accelify Solutions, LLC.
