OPPORTUNITY: WEBINARS, SYMPOSIUMS, CERTIFICATE SCHOLARSHIPS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM The Institute currently offers the following three scholarships that are awarded annually: the Cathy L. Brock Memorial scholarship, the Elliot C. Roberts Scholarship and the Transamerica Leaders in Health Care scholarship. The Institute raises the funds for the Brock and Roberts scholarships and manages the Transamerica scholarship. OPPORTUNITY: SCHOLARSHIP CONTRIBUTION, NAMED SCHOLARSHIP SUMMER AND FALL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS This 10-week paid internships place graduate students in hospitals, health care systems and associations around the country. It provides participants with an introduction/immersion to working in the area of health care management. Under the guidance of mentors, interns complete an individually designed project of significance to the host organizations and participate in educational and career-related opportunities offered by the Institute. Since 1994, more than 1100 interns have been placed across the country, and many now hold senior management positions at hospitals and health care organizations.
