The school is recognised as one of the Gladstone region s leading broad comprehensive secondary schools with academic, cultural, sporting pathways and programs at the school receiving recognition at a local and state level. The Toolooa State High School P & C Shaping the Future Scholarship aims to: Support students who demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities within the school and broader community as well as academic excellence through their achievements in primary school; and Acknowledge the efforts of parents, schools and teacher in supporting their student to achieve their highest potential Students from all primary schools, both state and private, are invited to apply for one of six scholarships at Toolooa State High School. Successful applicants will be awarded financial assistance for school-related expenses to the value of $400.00. There are four (4) areas in which scholarships are awarded; however, the judging panel can recommend a change to the number of awards for each area based on the quality of applicants.
