With the creation of 8 Coordinated Access Networks across the state, Connecticut created a single point of entry into the homeless service system. HUD Secretary Carson is promoting an active focus on the use of housing programs as a platform to improve self-sufficiency and quality of life and facilitating attrition that can help us reach more members of the community with HUD programs. The use of unemployed tradesmen underscores how Housing Authorities can market their programs as assets and opportunities for the broader community.
