Rented multiple study rooms for finals. ΑΦ: Spring house dance was a few weekends ago. Had senior week last week. Participated in the Breakfast club cleanup. Freshman won basketball tourney. Initiated 10 new members ΧΩ: Spring philanthropy this Friday, Chi-O Smash. Everyone is invited. Having a studying and yoga in the park sisterhood. Having Star Wars study break. Three members are attending convention over the summer. ΔΔΔ: Had senior brunch and senior willing a week ago. Had the Beavs Give a Dam programming. Appendix 4. Social Policy Section 1: Purpose a. We, the women of the at Oregon State University use this document as a reflection of the high standard we uphold. We place high value and esteem on the Panhellenic Community and thus respect each member s individual chapter, its property, and its member s safety. We understand the right for each member to take responsibility for her own actions and understand every individual is a representation of the Greek Community as a whole. b. Follow the policies that are set by the bylaws c. Follow national/international sorority policies d. Make certain that all City, County, State and Federal laws are followed e. Adhere to the OSU student code of conduct f. All Chapters and colonies members recognized by the fall under the jurisdiction of the Events Policy and are expected to abide by its regulations. g. Forms, as referred to in this article, may be found online on the Oregon State Panhellenic website. Section 2: Definition of Terms a. The term event will be interpreted as any event social in nature sponsored by a Chapter at Oregon State University. b. The term premeditated will be interpreted as planned or deliberated. Section 3: Event Types a. All premeditated social events with a third party venue. I. All events much be registered with the. Events must be registered by 5:00 p.m. at least 14 calendar days before the event. Vice President Regulations and Judicial will review registrations and notify the president of approval successful completion. II. Alcohol may only be served by third party vendors at all premeditated social events taking place a third party venue Section 4: Enforcement a. Violations of the Events Policy shall be sent through the judicial process as outlined in the Panhellenic bylaws Article XII and/or the Student Conduct Hearing Board. Section 5: Good Faith a. It is recognized that this policy cannot address, in specific fashion, all possible social situations that may occur. When this policy is not specific on a particular point, the
Chapters and their members are expected to conduct their events and themselves in the spirit of social responsibility expressed in this policy.
