YORKSHIRE POWER LEADERS Dr. Mohammed Sabir, MBE, Founder, Aagrah Group Chairman The 36th annual Aagrah Charity Business Dinner celebrates Yorkshire Power Leaders, business development and investment across the region, in particular regeneration of city centres to make them even more attractive destination for shoppers and visitors alike and will be a catalyst for further investment in the cities. Every year the prestigious Red-Carpet event addresses current business topic to showcase the region and its success in a bid to encourage investment to fuel further growth and development, to be a major player on the world s business stage. It looks at key companies who have not only helped to put the County on the map, its leaders whose continued hard work and dedication are the reason for its continued success, indeed these businesses are the beating heart of Yorkshire s economy. The effect of tourism, music, food art, academia and culture also play a major role in the success of the region. The Aagrah Charity Business Dinner has become a much-anticipated event in the business calendar and is widely acknowledged as the platform to network, connect and engage. With expected audience of over 700, the Red-Carpet dinner will include a wide array of companies that represent elite businesses owners, professionals and corporate executives across Yorkshire and nationally. The evening will combine great networking, speakers, a sumptuous 5 course banquet dinner, business awards as well as great entertainment. Aagrah Background Established 41 years ago, Aagrah is an independent family owned business with 12 branches across Yorkshire. It also has The Midpoint Suite, a conference and banqueting centre, seating 450 people. The company Event catering division that provides outdoor catering service throughout the UK as well as a popular range of Tarka cooking sauces are available in Asda and Co-Op Food. Included with this letter is an information pack which gives you a number of ways how you can participate in the event. ELITE BUSINESS AWARDS The search is on for the Elite Yorkshire Business Awards 2018 across business sectors in Yorkshire. For over 10 years the awards have been a major part of the Aagrah Charity Business Dinner. They have become firmly established as a celebration of all that s great in the Yorkshire Business industry. Elite Law Firm The Aagrah Annual Business awards have been running for over 12 years and this well-established platform brings together from all different sectors of the business industry during a fabulous award show. Celebrates outstanding achievement within the profession. By recognising exceptional achievement and best practice, they underline the crucial role promoting innovation played by lawyers working in tandem with colleagues in other disciplines such as marketing, business development, finance, IT, project management, operations, PR and recruitment. Elite Digital, Creative and Media Award This award is open to any business or entrepreneur operating in the digital, creative or media industries. This covers a broad span of different business types and disciplines, ranging from agency projects to in-house campaigns. Essentially, we are looking for modern, forwardlooking professionals who are delivering notable commercial success. The winning company will have seen its sales-led strategy produce real results in the marketplace and, most importantly, it will have a robust development strategy in place to build on current successes in the years ahead. Judging Criteria The judges will be looking for evidence based on the following criteria: Significant growth and innovation in the company s market sector. Application of sound, innovative thinking in its planning and operational management. An excellent understanding of the market and of customer needs, coupled with the ability to recognise and act upon new opportunities. Evidence of achievement and performance that makes the business stand out from its competitors. CENTENARY PAVILION LEEDS UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB The multi-million pound Centenary Pavilion provides one of the biggest Conference and Events centres in the North of England.
